Dear all,
Assignment 2 has been posted on the course website and is due by the end of the day on Friday, October 13th. For this assignment, you will be using functions you learned from the dplyr package and you will also continue creating visualizations using ggplot2. It is recommended that you read through the questions at some point over the next couple days and that you don’t wait until the evening of October 13th to begin. This is because some of the questions require bringing together several concepts we’ve learned over the past 4 weeks, and so these questions may take you longer to solve than the ones on the previous homework. You should also check that the dataset loads and verify you’re not experiencing any technical glitches well in advance of the due date. If you have problems, you must contact me as soon as possible. If you need help, make plans to stop by my office hours or email me to set up an appointment.
As a reminder, there is no class on Monday due to Columbus Day, but we will meet for class on Tuesday and Wednesday at the regular times. For the week of October 9, my office hours will be as follows:
Tuesday: 1:00pm–2:00pm
Wednesday: 4:30pm–5:30pm
The following week my office hours will go back to their regular time.
