Midterm Project follow-up; additional office hours on Thursday and Friday
Dear all,
I’ve updated the Midterm Project Instructions page since today’s class. You can now read the midterm instructions (these are the same as the handout I gave you today) directly on the website and download the instructions in PDF format for offline viewing. Each group should have also received an email from me by now that confirms your group number from today’s class as well as the names and email addresses of your fellow group members.
I am also adding office hours for Thursday and Friday of this week, so that groups can discuss any questions they have about the midterm before the weekend starts. I’m fine with an individual member from a group, part of the group, or the full group coming by to discuss, since schedules may vary. The additional times are:
- Thursday: 10:00am–11:00am, 4:30pm–5:30pm
- Friday: 11:00am–12:00pm, 4:00pm–5:00pm (for 4pm–5pm slot, midterm questions only)
- Or by appointment, email me if these times conflict with class schedules
I will also discuss questions about Assignment 2 (due end of the day on Friday) during these times except for the Friday 4:00pm–5:00pm slot, which is for midterm questions only.
As a reminder, you will have the full class period on Monday, October 16 to work on the project with your groups. During that time I will conference with each group to check in on their overall progress.
